  • Ice Climbing - Tiramisu, Norway
On a back-country ski trip, Tom spotted a vertical ice line some kilometers away. A forthnight after Tom, Steinar and I went on an expedition to make our first frist-ascent on vertical ice ever. It was icy, rainy and scared the sh*t out of number one, while camera man Steinar and belay monkey Tom almost froze to death... The line is now called Tiramisu (Ital. "pull me up") named after the desert we had when planning the trip. [Camera: Steinar/Matz, Climbing: Matz/Steinar, Supporting Actor: Tom]

  • Ice Climbing in the Ghost Wilderness
This video comes from our Canadian correspondent Jamen, and documents a day of Ice Climbing in the Ghost Wilderness, a beautiful area that is just west of Calgary, bordering Banff National Park. The Ghost is considered by many to be the center of the universe for ice climbing, as there are great routes and cold temperatures, yet a very low risk of avalanches.

So if you're in to ice climbing, be sure to check out this video. If you aren't into ice climbing, there are some beautiful scenes and great music, and it's quite entertaining to watch... Enjoy!

  • First Ski Descent of Dhaulagiri
this awesome ten minute long video is of the first ski descent of Dhaulagiri. The video opens with some cool shots of life in Nepal, with a mix of great scenery and some video of the wonderful people that live there, but soon it shifts gears to the mountain and the action there.

Dhaula is the 7th tallest mountain in the world, and is located in the north central region of Nepal. It stands 8167m in height (26,795 feet). The video shows the challenges of the climb, along with plenty of snow. But reaching the top is just the beginning, as the descent by skis is quite a site as well.
